Hitoshi Fujisaki Exhibition 2025

Gallery tete will host a solo exhibition titled "fused" by Japanese woodworker Hitoshi Fujisaki (studio fujino)starting September 13. Born in 1972, Fujisaki moved to Italy in 2001, establishing a studio in Milan. In 2007, he returned to Japan and now works at the foot of Mount Jinba in Kanagawa Prefecture, focusing on woodworking and furniture design.

In this exhibition, Fujisaki will showcase his new "fused vase" series, specially created for this event. This series received a good result at the "Vase Exhibition" held in Japan.

The "fused vase" beautifully combines the strong grain of walnut wood with the soft luster of tin, demonstrating new possibilities that transcend traditional woodworking. Every detail of the works reflects the time and experimentation Fujisaki has spent. Additionally, visitors can enjoy his classic pieces, such as the "Rinka Plate," which have long been favorites.
