Born in Sapporo City, Hokkaido, Japan, 1977.
Mr Nikaido's studio is located in Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, surrounded by a deep green forested mountain area, where he creates his works. His deep and wide-ranging style of creation includes "rust ware" that looks like ironware and Izu ware that has a rich texture, leaving variations when used.
