Yamato Kobayashi, born and raised in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, a region renowned for ceramics, now works as a ceramic artist.
His creations center on vessels of Kohiki (white slipware), black glaze, and ash glaze, born from his independence, quietly breathing warmth and earthy charm into their graceful forms.

He continues crafting these classic pieces, quietly engaging with them each day, accumulating subtle insights and gradually refining their shape and texture.
